This Survey Training Day aims to provide you with the essential knowledge that you need to know as a surveyor of a traditional house.

Topics covered:

In this Surveyor Training Day, we will typically cover topics such as:

1. Consider whether a Level 2 or Level 3 survey is the best option for this house
2. Discuss what a surveyors ‘Duty of Care’ means in the context of traditional brick housing
3. Consider what is the difference between a ‘poor’ survey report and a ‘competent’ survey report
4. Consider what a ‘good’ survey report looks like
5. Learn about defects commonly found in traditional brick housing of this period
6. Learn about decision making and providing good advice to a client
7. Discuss when a further investigation is needed
8. Discuss damp in older buildings and what this means to a buyer
