World Heritage UK – World Heritage Webinars: Introducing European World Heritage Sites

Dates: 23 September, 7 October, 21 October, 11 November, and 25 November

World Heritage UK (WHUK) is a member of the European Network of World Heritage Associations (ENWHA), a union of associations that aims to raise awareness of World Heritage, and to advocate for its protection and conservation. WHUK is hosting five webinars that showcase world heritage site from ENWHA’s membership, providing the chance to discover world heritage outside the UK. The series includes an introduction to ENWHA, Val de Loire Cultural Landscape, Hanseatic Old Towns of Wismar and Stralsund, Western Norwegian Fjords, and the Historic Centre of Florence.

WHUK hopes this series will be the first of many drawing on WHSs from across the ENWHA membership and will allow attendees the opportunity to discover World Heritage outside of the UK.

  • Talks will be given in English
  • Webinar timings – 6-7pm UK time, 7-8 CET
  • Online platform – All webinars will run on Zoom
  • All webinars will be recorded and uploaded to WHUK’s private YouTube account; all ticket holders will be provided the link later in the week after the webinar
  • Single tickets are £5; a series ticket for all five is £20
