One of the core principles of the SPAB is that new work should express current needs in a contemporary language. Using case studies by leading architects, this one day seminar will explore contrasting approaches to what makes for good contemporary design in historic contexts.<\/p>\n<p>This event is part of the relaunch of the Society&#8217;s Philip Webb Award, a design competition for Part II architectural students and recent graduates.
