Then this is the ideal course for you!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8221; As a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 40years in the engineering and construction industry, the NHTG L3 Understanding Repair and Maintenance course was a fascinating couple of days. Reflecting on the session, I came to the conclusion that there is still a lot for me to understand about traditional buildings. At least by doing the two days, I&#8217;ve started a new learning cycle!&#8221; <\/em>Dewsbury Course June 2015<\/p>\n<p>The NHTG is offering this course to demonstrate its value and importance, create demand and hopefully encourage other training providers across the UK to offer it too.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand how to repair and maintain traditional buildings<\/li>\n<li>Understand relevant legislation and guidance<\/li>\n<li>Traditional materials and methods<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining safe working practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Of interest to crafts persons, builders and professionals \u2013 a two day course on Repair and Maintenance of Traditional Buildings. Participants will learn about the theory and practicalities of conserving traditional buildings from industry experts. Registration with CITB Cskills Awards for AWD053 is included in the course fee and participants will take a short test at the end of the second day.
