Participants are invited to debate what kind of evaluation and evidence is needed to fill research gaps and build the evidence base. We aim to ignite curiosity about how heritage science can contribute to this very active area of research and public policy interest.<\/p>\n<p>We hope that this event will inspire new collaborations in health, well-being and culture and that it will encourage participants to think about heritage science research and its application to this field.<\/p>\n<p>This seminar will be of interest to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Researchers and cultural organisations interested in exploring the opportunities for research in cultural heritage and health and well-being<\/li>\n<li>People already active in the field of heritage science research<\/li>\n<li>Individuals or organisations engaged in cultural and arts well-being initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This event is\u00a0held in conjunction with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tate.org.uk\/research\/collection-care-research\">Collection Care Research<\/a>\u00a0at Tate.\u00a0It is offered by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.heritagescienceforum.org.uk\/\">National Heritage Science Forum<\/a>\u00a0as part of a series aimed at sharing the \u2018state of the art\u2019 of topics of relevance to academic, higher education and heritage sectors to provoke reflection, encourage debate and stimulate collaboration.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"font-weight: 600;\"><b><strong>This is a free event but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/health-well-being-and-cultural-heritage-research-evidence-and-practice-tickets-36488663575\">registration <\/a>is required.<\/strong><\/b><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"font-weight: 600;\"><b><strong>Please bring your Eventbrite ticket with you to gain admission.<\/strong><\/b><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>12 September 2017 London The contribution of arts and culture to health and well-being has received considerable attention over the last ten years from researchers, funders and government.
