- Throughout every building survey or inspection, the surveyor will need to make decisions about defects that are seen. This isn’t always as easy as it might sound and poor decisions, usually exaggerating an otherwise common observation, will reduce the value of your survey report. It can be especially hard to make decisions of property that has been refurbished where the quality of the work is more important to the customer than the superficial condition.
