This is a really valuable opportunity to learn about surveying a Suffolk historic timber-frame, client communication and risk management of a substantial project.   The house is Grade II Listed and we will also discuss the process for getting Listed Building Consent for the project.

This house was first seen pre-purchase and has been revisited as it goes through an ambitious project for a large extension and a whole-house refurbishment.  When completed, this house could well be one of the largest retrofit projects in the UK.  A team of talented experts have designed a project that will utilise in-built monitoring with the aim of reducing condensation and moisture risks. The house has been dendro dated to 1628.
