As Glasgow prepares to host the 20th Commonwealth Games, the Symposium will seek learning from and deliver transferrable lessons for all of Scotland’s places.
The investment and initiatives related to the games are influencing change in many places and communities. The 2014 Design Skills Symposium will explore how a focus on a design led approach to the smarter use of assets, the creation of healthy sustainable neighbourhoods and community empowerment can help to build the conditions for greater urban and economic resilience.
