New Opportunities for the Management of Scotland’s Historic Environment

23 Feb 2015
Glasgow

This course is designed to equip attendees with an appreciation of the wide range of benefits available to communities from the Government’s Historic Environment Strategy for Scotland (Our Place in Time). It will highlight the holistic value of architectural conservation and placemaking. The target audience is on the ‘front line’, particularly within local authorities, including councilors – who will be able to discuss the application of the Strategy and how to lead their planning officers in the opportunities it offers. We will discuss how the Strategy can be realized and how its application can bring wider returns. We have a comprehensive range of speakers to cover the complexities of managing the Historic Environment and the opportunity to discuss specific case studies across Scotland.
