BRE Watford
Prof Albert Simeoni is the BRE Research chair of Fire Safety Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. His research covers the fundamental aspects of fire dynamics and fire behavior in general under experimental, modeling and simulation aspects. We are pleased to have Albert as our keynote speaker discussing ‘understanding how wildland fires spread and quantifying their impact’. His other topics of research include basement fires, fire as a mitigation tool for oil spills in the Arctic or backdrafts.
