Join us for a behind the scenes tour of this construction site and find out what it is like to be an architect working on a scheduled monument.
Edinburgh Castle looks stunning, towering above the city on the remains of an extinct volcano. This dramatic setting does mean, however, there is a risk of rock fall.
At this event our architect will explain:
- the measures we are taking to ensure rock fall is contained
- how we are using traditional skills to do this
- how we are sourcing local materials, appropriate to the setting
