Aided with real world exemplar photos spanning 50+ years working on these structures. We will deal with the period from the 1780s to the 1830s – an era that marked a seminal moment in the architectural history of our country. It was a complex period of development, with many new materials becoming available. It is a particularly intriguing time to explore and understand methods of building.

Over two days the course delves into the world of the contractors and skilled craftsmen of the age.

We will examine how rapid Georgian construction was achieved, the skills, availability of materials, and much more,

The house and No 10 basement will also be used to clarify enabling future analysis and reparation guidance to be knowledge driven. Demonstrations by John Zielinski are included.
