Heritage Day – The House Mill in Bromley-by-Bow

As part of the CBA Festival of British Archaeology, the House Mill in Bromley-by-Bow is holding a Heritage Day on Monday 15th July. The public event will include expert talks and a tour of the Grade I listed mill by architects and heritage consultants Purcell and MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology).

As well as the House Mill tour, there will be an overview of its history by Tim Murphy from Purcell and a talk by Dr Damian Goodburn, an Ancient Woodwork Specialist from MOLA titled; ‘Recent excavations of early tide mills on the Thames’.
