Worried about public sector skills’ gaps caused by public sector funding cuts and loss of specialist heritage, conservation and archaeological roles in Local Authorities? Recent reports show cuts in these roles are as much as 33%! In this free discussion forum hosted by HTF partner Bircham Dyson Bell, and in conjunction with ASHTAV, we invite you to join in discussions to help find a solution. We know what the problem is, but how do we fix it? Experts from all relevant fields will be present to talk through the issues and concerns, and Local Authorities will discuss how they are tackling it. We hope to find out what you need from the sector in terms of training, guidance and filling the gap.
