Join us for an exciting in-person day packed with hands-on learning focused on cast iron restoration and testing techniques used during the restoration of the worlds longest cast iron structure and historically important Madeira Terrace in Brighton.
The day will include details of the innovative assessment techniques used and repair methodologies used to breathe new life into the structure for generations to come. Also included will be a guided tour of the museum, refreshments, lunch and the day concludes with a relaxing supper in the museums newly constructed Elephant and Castle Traditional Pub.
The aim is to have a mix of technical talks and practical demonstrations in the best of venues.
Numbers are limited to keep the day relaxed and informal whilst achieving the technical objectives of knowledge sharing on Cast Iron.
